While regretfiul, Coach Trevor Basil, announced today that he would be leaving NOVA for the State of Florida, where his wife has accepted a new position.

"We are disappointed that Trevor will be leaving NOVA," commented General Manager Dave Salo. "He has been an enthusiastic and integral part of our program for the past two years. He has also been instrumental in helping to develop the Soka University program. We will miss his presence on the deck, but for certain we will see him coaching in no time soon when he completes his relocation to Florida."

Trevor will complete his duties with NOVA at the end of May while finishing off his responsibilities with Soka University through June before heading for the Gold Coast of Florida. Through the summer, Coach Adam Crossen will pull double duty with both Senior I and Senior II at Soka. As the senior program continues to grow at the Soka location, we will consider applications for an assistant coaching position with the senior group.
