6 NOVA senior girls drove up to Santa Barbara on June 30th
to compete in the Nite Moves "Moonlight" open water/run
event. The event which begins at 6:30 PM is 1K
ocean swim followed by a 5K run through the streets of Santa
Barbra. Our girls braved the 57 degree water
without wetsuits (the only swimmers to do so) and had a wonderful
time! The girls all finished in the top 15 of the swim
portion.
Jessica DelMonaco = 3rd Kylie Boyce =4th, Lauren Parrett = 5th,
Piper Marshburn = 9th, Stephanie Johnson = 12th and Soleil Phan =
13th. The girls not only swam with seals
but were warned that their was a baby great shark
offshore! Congratulations to all!
