JUNIOR OLYMPICS

With an army of over 150 swimmers, the Novaquatics head into the Summer Junior Olympics poised, confident, and ready to swim.

Just off a successful Sectional Championship for our Senior Program, its now our age-group program's time to shine. 

The meet begins this Thursday at the Marguerite Aquatics Complex in Mission Viejo and will continue through "Relay Day" on Monday. 

"Look out world, here we come." commented Associate Head Age-Group Coach Andi Kawamoto, "What a perfect back drop for our swimmers to get motivated and swim with the world coming to Irvine next week."

All swimmers are reminded to wear their NOVA team gear.  Team Speedo brand suits, team cap and team championship t-shirt.  Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and be sure to stay hydrated at the meet.

Below is the link to the ESTIMATED timeline for the meet.   All swimmers need to carefully read ALL information in the attached info.  There is information included that is necessary for all distance events.   Please be sure to arrive a MINIMUM of 90 minutes prior to the estimated start time of your race.

SUMMER BREAK SCHEDULE

Following Championship Season the Novaquatics encourages all swimmers and families to organize some family time and enjoy a well deserved break.  However, we will continue to offer workouts and hope all our swimmers recognize the importance of staying active and including swimming in their summer break activities.

Reminder that the first three weeks of August have most of Woollett unavailable for our traditional summer break schedule, and all programming normally at Woollett, has been relocated to Northwood High School.  Therefore our hours at Northwood are extremely limited, and we are lucky to have a consistent schedule through those busy weeks.

We will return to our normal site schedules on Tuesday, Sept 7.  There is no workout on Monday, September 6 (Labor Day)
